Mystery Number Game
Mystery Number is a fun global collaboration game to play for younger students. A class meets another class online via Google Hangouts or Skype. Students take turns asking question to try and guess the other class's mystery number. Questions can only be answered by yes/no. By using a hundreds chart, students eliminate the incorrect numbers to discover the mystery number. Then students share information about their location and learn about their partner class. It is a great way to meet students in other places and teach students to think more globally. It also is great practice in number sense and place value.
